Hatchery ees have some ameraucana and some araucana blood in them,but they also have production blood in them.if it says it can lay brown , blue ,pink or green eggs it. General rule of thumb with ameraucana: Ameraucana will only lay shades of blue. I have buff orpington and blue ameraucana crosses currently in my brooder. My husband and i have started a small flock of chickens, primarily for egg production.
